EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN A BOX
Individual or twin pack
The FLATSCAN SW is available as a pack of 1 or 2 sensors containing everything you need to install and configure your sensor.
A standard box contains 2 cables: 1 power cable of 2.5 m and 1 master-slave cable of 45 cm to connect 2 FLATSCAN SW installed on each side of the door wing.
A black flexible tube protects the cable during the opening and closing cycles of the door. Detailed documentation will guide you through the installation process of your FLATSCAN SW.

Hinge area safety
The FLATSCAN SW generates a laser curtain of 170 measurement points divided over 106°. It covers 2 zones at the same time: 70 points are divided over 90° and cover the door wing, 100 points are divided over 16° and cover the hinge area.
In the pinch zone, the minimal detected object size is 2 cm (for a mounting height of 4 m). This size is reduced to 1 cm when the sensor is mounted at 2 m. The high definition detection zone enables the FLATSCAN SW to see objects as small as fingers for example.

INDEPENDENCE OF FLOORING AND SURROUNDINGS
High precision laser technology
The FLATSCAN SW operates thanks to laser technology based on time-of-flight. This technology has proven its success in the industrial range of BEA sensor since 2009.
It offers numerous advantages: independence of flooring and surroundings, detection stability and high precision. The FLATSCAN SW benefits from these technological advantages in order to offer a better performance to your automatic door.
CLOSING EDGE SAFETY
When the door is closing, the FLATSCAN SW extends the covered zone beyond the closing edge of the door, which increases comfort.
The detection field adapts progressively according to the opening angle of the door wing.
The sensor increases the field size by maximum 5 cm beyond the door edge.
